Our signature community affairs program, Full Futures, is a 5-year, $5 million commitment to the school nutrition environment. Launched in 2021, Full Futures builds on our learnings from Campbell’s Healthy Communities, a 10-year initiative to measurably advance the health of young people in Camden, New Jersey and other locations where we have operations.
Our ten years of work in food access and nutrition during Campbell’s Healthy Communities program uncovered an opportunity to advance the school food environment—from cafeteria equipment, to expanded meal programs, to menu reformulation and more. Schools play a vital role in providing daily nutrition to children, and we believe we can make a meaningful impact on enhancing the school nutrition environment. We are working closely with a broad range of partners, including from public, private and non-profit sectors.

Our initial investments will help advance a positive school food environment throughout the school district and include:
Advancing school meal programs so all students have access to nutritious meals 365 days a year.
Ensuring food service staff and other key stakeholders have the equipment, training, and resources needed to execute successful and nutritious school meal programs.
Expanding the reach and impact of nutrition and culinary education in a variety of school settings and audiences to drive behaviors, awareness, and interest in nutritious food.
Supporting districts in procuring nutritious, locally sourced ingredients and supporting menu creation to emphasize those ingredients in a way that’s centered around students.
Our 10-year, $10-million program concluded earlier this year. Through Campbell’s Healthy Communities, and our work over the past ten years, we worked to measurably improve the health of young people in our hometowns—with a special focus on Camden—by partnering with nonprofits, schools, health care sites, and food retailers to:
We were proud to lead this initiative and partner with passionate, talented organizations from a range of sectors as we take a Collective Impact approach to making real, lasting change in our communities.
